How to Have Fun in One Day; So Aaahmaaazing!!!
A Trip to Gurara Falls; How to have fun in one day.
Saturdays are typical for long rest and cleaning, weddings and parties. In the absence of these activities in my life, I joined my colleagues and friends on a road trip to Gurara falls, Niger State.Lets Start with my favorite photos
The Road Trip
We left Abuja at 9:30am. The rain was so heavy and I hoped that it didn't extend to Niger State because I was ready for this and there was no going back.
The road trip was much fun. We had a lot of games, jokes, riddles and bonding with the friends of my friends and colleagues.
We arrive Gurara at 11:30 am, paid a gate pass fee of N1000 and set off on tour.
The first place we went to was a spot, where we had an overview of the fall. This place capture the natural beauty and ambiance of the fall.
The tour guide told us that he was going take us all the way down there. Down there!!!
He meant that we were going to be this close to the fall and I was ready for it.
Rock Climbing-Downwards
The second part of this trip was totally different from the first. It was so rocky. Climbing down the rocky hill comfortably will bring you to using your both hands.
Climbing down this rocky hill will be uncomfortable if you are wearing a high heeled canvas and the sharp edge of the rock will hit back at your feet if you are wearing a flat sandals.
Best option is a flat shoe with thick soles or a flat canvas with rough and thick soles.
Down The Rocky Mountain
Down there was a bit leveled and for a start, we had our ice cold drinks, a little bit of rest and snack to prepare for the third part of the tour which I considered, the most interesting, fun and stressful.
Trip to the Fall Front
This is the good and bad part. I slipped, jumped and almost fell but I was strong till the end.
It was a lot more fun. It had very good backdrops for the camera.
We sotpped at different points just to feel the atmosphere of the place. There were lots of inspiration for different people, like;
Flying On the Rock
Yoga On The Rock
At first, the positions made me laugh so hard.
I tried them and a lot of the poses where quite difficult. I am sure you can easily spot out my bad yoga pose from the photo below.
It was very sunny, and I had my own share of the day
Beautiful photos
We had fun and we danced and danced and eat and drank.
Going back was such a job. The muscles lining of my thighs were hurting, and my knees where trembling because of the stretches rock climbing and dancing.
I didn't see this coming.
For every 5 to 7 steps, I stopped catch my breath and gather momentum for the next phase.
it was not fun going up, but the road trip back to town was the bomb.
Before I left, I signed my name on the sands of Gurara
