DIY: How I make Watermelon, Lemon and Tomato Soap with Natural Oil

It is a handmade soap, made by cold process.



I replaced distilled water with the juice from the fruits I used.

For Soap making Measurements

  • I used the www.soapcalc.net

Fruits Used for Soap

  • Watermelon
  • Lemon
  • Tomatoes

Oils and Butters

  • Shea Butter
  • Coconut Oil
  • Olive Oil

Soap Fragrance

  • Orange Essential Oil

Soap Dye

  • This soap adopted the color from the fruits used

Soap Process

  • Cold Process

Note

Before mixing the soap, The Lye Solution and the melted oils must be within the same temperature. 100 to 120 degrees Celsius.

DIY Moisturizing African Black Soap

Have you ever tried using the African Black Soap for body bath or hair wash? I'm sure a lot of people have. The most commonly sold brand is Dudu Osun. I have used it severally for my hair and body and the truth is that I had my up and down sides. I read reviews  ( Amazon , FashStyleLive , Chloe's Makeover ) to satisfy my experience and found something convincing. I have a friend who is transitioning her hair she asked a lot of questions about using edible mayonnaise for her hair.
