See How Faith Worked For an 8 Year Old

I draw today's inspiration from Hebrew 11 vs 1, Faith.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen".

Here is a story about a town of 80 families.

The people of this town have not seen rain for two years. Their water reserve was almost empty, their crops where starving and they were hopeless for the unknown - they may die of thirst.

One day, the king of this town called everyone together to discuss on this water issue.
At the end of their deliberations, the elders of the town agreed that they will gather at their open field the next day.
They planned to use the whole day to pray that God would send them rain.
They also agreed that they will not leave the field or stop praying until God sends them rain.

On the d-day, every one left their houses early in the morning to the open field to pray.

Of the entire towns men made up of eighty families, only an eight year boy came along with an umbrella, to shield himself when the rain comes. "what a faith"

Can you demonstrate something about what you are waiting on God for?
Can you prove to him that you have gotten to that point where everything is ready, waiting for him to completely perfect it?

That is faith at work, even if it is as small as a mustard seed.

May God grant you productivity and fruitfulness as you work with him in faith this week.

Enjoy the rest of the week.
