7th Senate Of The National Assembly has Finally Ended, David Mark gives Closing Remark

June 5 2011 to June 21 2016, 4 years has come and gone and the 7th Senate valedictory session has come to an end.
The 7th senate saw 429 persons confirmed, 591 bills submitted out of which 123 were passed and approved.
Several others bills are still in different stages of deliberation.
Among the bills that wasn't approved is the Petroleum Industry Bill which was raised in 2008 and sent to the Nation Assembly in 2012.
The 8th senate will formally be convening on Tuesday 9th of June 2015.
Their first assignment will be to elect a new senate president.
