Filling Station Explosion Kills Over 96 People in Ghana

Over 96 burnt bodies has been recovered from the fire explosion that happened at Goil Filling Station at the Nkurmah circle in Accra on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian National fire service confirmed that 75 bodies has been found so far while they are still searching for the explosion scene.

As the Salvage operation continues,  people  that are helping in the search operation told Starr News, Asabea Akonor, that about 96 bodies have been found.

The explosion happened shortly after a heavy down ppour in Accra which led to a serious flood situation.

About dozens of people have been taken to hospital following the blast.

Goil Filling Station is located opposite Vienna City Night club, behind GBC filling Station.
