Best Hair Style Of The Week; Curly Twists and a Bun, for Natural, Un-Relaxed Hair

Steps to Achieve this Hair:

This style was done on a dry, un-relaxed hair.

  • I section the hair on the top part of my head down to the crown. ( You can section to you desired pattern)
  • Without combing, I used my fingers to section my hair into very small parts. The essence is to achieve a rough look and create volume at the roots of my hair.
  • Fore each small section, I twisted to the tips.
  • After I had twisted the entire section of my hair, I rubbed in my curl defining gel to the twisted section up to the tips.
  • I shared the twists in sections of 4 strands and rolled it to my perm rod in a slanting position.
  • I allowed it to air dry over the night.
  • The following morning, i sprayed water and coconut oil on the section that is not twisted to de-tangle and make it easier to comb.
  • Afterwards, I spayed a little amount of liquid gel to my hair.
  • I combed and brushed the entire hair up my crown , making sure it is a flat as possible.
  • I secure the hair with an elastic hair band, bobby pins and hair comb. ( I used rubber band)
  • I took out the perm rod and separated it to individual twist.
